Receipt of your new gecko
We believe that every animal we sell is of the very highest quality, healthy and feeding well on a diet of regular mealworms.
When you receive your gecko please ensure that you give it time to settle into its new home. It may take a few days before it feels like feeding. A period of non feeding could be caused by a number of factors:
1. Temperature too cold, make sure it is at least 32 C measured with a thermometer, not guessed.
2. Geckos are secretive so if you are placing them into a large vivarium make sure they have a variety of hides in the warm and cool areas.
3. If other geckos are present make sure they are not bullying the new animal. If necessary remove all animals from the vivarium, clean, disinfect, and put new substrate in. Then replace all animals starting with the new one. This should help.
Please contact us immediately if you are not happy with your new gecko. |
